If T-Pain’s recent tweets are any indication, it appears that he also feels the same way about Hip Hop’s treatment of homosexuals. You can’t be in a locker room full of motherf*cking tough-a*s dudes, then all of a sudden say, ‘Hey, man, I like you.’ You know, that’s going to be tough.” It’s acceptable in the singing world, but in the rap world I don’t know if it will ever be acceptable because rap is so masculine. In a recent interview with The Guardian, Snoop Lion says: However, numerous artists are starting to speak out on these issues and give their opinions on it, and most recently, ASAP Rocky and Snoop Lion have made it clear that they feel it’s not fair that Hip Hop hasn’t managed to become accepting of homosexuals.

The Hip Hop community is known for being pretty close minded when it comes to homosexuality, and it’s always been pretty well established that the industry doesn’t make it easy for artists to come out of the closet.
